The Art of Composition - Through the Viewer’s Lens
A camera or smartphone and your own creative expression is all you need!

Creative artist Lonack Signature teams up with the celebrated, local singer-songwriter Christopher Dale for a one night, family friendly, interactive event. Guests are invited to explore the Art of Composition through a close up, photographic examination of Lonack’s works as well as create and photograph their own temporary assemblage inspired by live performances of Dale’s original compositions.

Bring your camera and creativity to this family friendly event.

Holiday Swag Creations

I've wanted to make a peace wreath for some time. 

I chose to make it with faux greens so that we can use it every year - although I should use it year round and keep decorating it with different themes... 'cause peace is a year-round gig!

I used the discarded tree cuttings from a local Christmas tree lot to make the base. 

Clipped natural branches from plants and trees.

Collected pinecones when I came across them throughout the year and reused them from previous creations.

Used florist wire to tie everything together.

Bows and ornaments can be removed after the season and reused again.

A little spritz of spray paint glitter sprinkles it with magic. 

These are fun to make and leave on your friend's and family's doors or fences as a festive surprise!

Kitchen Night Light

When the blender broke I thought it would make a great kitchen light - Replete with LED color changing light bulb, block guppies and slipper fish.

A simple push on the smoothie puree button illuminates the pitcher/picture.

(I was going to implant a sound card with bubble sounds or the sound of crashing waves but I figured any loop pattern would eventually end up bugging me or the fam.... but if I hooked up the switch only to the pulse button, that might work.  That way it would be a controllable, short burst of silliness.  In which case, having some random sounds like popcorn popping, fog horn, crickets etc. might take it up a few more notches of fun...)

The Art of Deception

Big fan of Eddie Izzard.  Went to the Comedy Festival in Vegas with some friends and thought it would be fun to do a bit of a comedic twist on the Executive Transvestite gig in respects to Eddie... Even concocted a silly mixed media piece influenced by his jokes and references.  It included, but not limited to, a mason jelly jam jar, hair gel, assorted miniature girly items, a toy motorcycle and a cute detachable rhinestone bracelet.
I labeled it "Izzy's Jam" and near the end of his show scurried up to the stage, kinda hunkered down like - not wanting to impede on the audience's view behind me.  Though the circumstances would have dictated a proud Diva~esh saunter... I am only so brave. Besides, now in retrospect, a scurrying, hunched over Diva that's trying not to attract any attention to herself is pretty comical...
After the show, on our way to the loo I received a generous cat-call from a gentlemen in line for the next show only to have his girlfriend hit him in the arm and tell him to "Shut UP! That's a GUY!"
